I wasn't going post these pics of the nursery till we got her furniture set up and everything "perfect", but then today I changed my mind, which, being pregnant, I'm entitled to do. I'm home from work because I was feeling really crummy, but now I'm just bored sitting here in the living room so I figured I'd blog. So here are the before and after pics of her bedroom:
Before... boring and bland (well, almost) ;)

And the pink goes on..

there's me, doing my part. Sorry for the scandalous top there. I was burning up.

My handsome husband- putting the trim up

"can we be done now?"

unenthused with wallpapering.

Finished product (well, almost. Picture it with all the other junk out of there)

Here's her little bassinet, which is actually in our room (where it will remain), rather than her nursery... but isn't it cute? I love that the Moses basket comes out so that I can tote her around in it. :)

Her first little teddy bear, eagerly awaiting her arrival (like Daddy and Mommy) :)

Ok, now I'm hungry, so I will be done. We're making some good progress though, huh? Pretty exciting!

How can we even WAIT until July for all much anticipated new baby?
Love the trim and actually, the pink at first looked really (don't hate me: pepto bismol looking) but with the border and trim it truly turned out FABULOUS. YOu have a good eye.
love your honesty, Emily. lol
:)
How exciting! You look scandalous in that top!!!! haaaaaaa
Love you!
Super duper cute and girlie!! We have almost the same bassinet, which is very cool. And also, I sure hope that you were using paint with no VOC...hey I can't help but look after you my dear friend:)
VOC? whats that?
I love it! You guys did such a great job! So welcoming....
And the bear- Adorable! But then, I love teddy bears.... ;o)

These are just a couple of sites, but you can goggle more if you choose. Hope this helps! But remember I'm no doctor, haha:)
The room look superb. Very nice!
It's adorable! I love the simplicity. And hey! Charlie did a great job on the trim!
It's absolutely perfect. I love it! Now if only I could talk God into blessing us with a girl... :-)

Precious! Perfectly pink for a perfectly created tiny little girl!
hey,
That is the best bassinet I have ever seen. And I am not just saying that because you are pregnant and hormonal. I mean it.
Is that a garden themed room?? Because that would be very cool.

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! and I'm talking about the scandalous top, naturally. You are one hot potato. No, I'm not calling you round. It's just an expression. Hot potato Hot potato... it's a game, too, I think.
Can I sleep in Eden bassinet when I get there? It looks *really* cozy
The theme is butterflies, right? The only thing missing in that room is an adorable baby. Keep up the great incubating job! :P
Love,
Dana
Oooohhh! I love her little window seat! I'm going to sit on it, and hold her and sing to her while she's all wrapped up in an Auntie Coie quilt. I can't wait!!!
Yes...I *love* that card. However, I feel obliged to tell you that I can get my hair *much* higher than that.

ps. Don't tell Jen, but one of those kiwi trees is for you. When you come down, claim your fair share. But for now, we will just humor her.

and YAY! You're the best EVER! I feel so lucky now (about the kiwi tree.. not about the fact that you can get your hair higher than that chick's in the card).
Oh what a beautiful room! I love it!!!
